Just wish they'd labeled the code as Pro in the email instead of Artist. I couldn't activate yet, because I don't have my USB licenser yet, but I'm assuming the activation code they emailed me is simply a Pro code that will stay that way until I can activate.
#Add cracked licenses to elicenser control center cracked
Who are they stopping, really? Cubase still gets cracked regardless, so all they're doing is making it harder for the honest customer.ĮDIT: So I downloaded the Steinberg eLicenser Control Center and when I pasted my activation code from buying Artist, it verified it as Cubase Pro. Enter your email address, choose a password and click on Create MySteinberg Account. If you already have a Steinberg Account, enter your email and password (disregard steps 4 & 5). Really not pleased with the lack of clarity about this process, and the fact that they're still using USB licenses. Open a new browser tab and go to then click on My Steinberg.

I doubt they'd lock people who buy Artist before the 28th out of this promo just because they didn't get their USB dongle yet. Maybe this code is indeed for Pro, even though the email says Artist? No idea. I haven't received this email, just a code for Artist. On the promo page it says "If you purchase the download version of Cubase Artist in the Steinberg Online Shop, you will receive an activation code for Cubase Pro 10.5 via email." Start the application eLicenser Control Center, click on Perform Maintenance Tasks, if the dialog box does not appear, click Maintenance above. I just bought Artist because of this promotion.
